Los Angeles, CA, December 2010 - LaTonya Washington, Event Planner/Producer, has come into her own. She is creating a new chapter in history by showing women that you can be strong, confident, a survivor and yet maintain your femininity.
Ms. Washington has been celebrated by SmithPublish in their latest publication, Authors and Artists Magazine, after a face-to-face meet with Gina Smith, Editor-In-Chief, at a forum that Ms. Washington produced, Real Talk The Movement. Ms. Washington talks about her journey from childhood to now, her faith in God as well as doing what she loves to do.
Ms. Washington has been credited with projects for Multi-Platinum Recording Artist, Jay King, the mastermind behind Club Nouveau and Timex Social Club; Grammy Award Nominee Jazz Guitarist and guitarist for the Mo'Nique Show, Doc Powell; Celebrity Hairstylist, DaRico Jackson; and Designer to the Stars, Danielle Kelly, just to name a few. She is on the Board of Advisors for Bradshaw and Company Business & Consulting; Leadership Counsel for The Connected Women LA Chapter; and Saks Fifth Avenue Ambassador for CJ Jeans, the blue jean line for Cookie Johnson, wife of the legendary basketball star, Earvin "Magic" Johnson.
Ms. Washington is also the producer of Shades of Beauty, a "Pamper Me Day" for ladies, which has just begun touring; Real Talk The Movement, a forum which discusses real concerns and real issues of people dealing with relationship and how to learn effective communication; as well as TwentyOne Shades, a mentorship/event program for young girls, ages 15 to 21, teaching them how to properly enhance their outer selves while becoming the ladies that they were born to be. She is also the Event Director for VIM New Media Network.
